Books!!

Harrison LOVES books....carrying them around, looking at them, or having them read to him. In fact, 'book' seems to be his new favorite word; and he says it very well....

"PLEASE read me this book"

"I wonder how this one ends"

"PLEASE pick me up!"

More Progress - 1/19/10

Harrison is making more progress on several fronts...both, walking and using a spoon. Yesterday (and today), he was walking all over the place...and much faster! This video shows one of his little journeys, but I don't think it was his longest one. He is also getting better with using utensils. He can do a better job than what you can tell from this video, but you get the idea.

This is the longest trek we've seen Harrison make so far....pretty soon he'll be off and running!

Learning to eat by myself - 1/14/10

Harrison has started eating with a spoon (mostly) by himself. It's a little messy, but hopefully he'll get better soon. A friend of ours watched him today who said he would pick up a pea, place it on his spoon and then put the spoon in his mouth. He wouldn't do it for us!
