Carnival! 6/28/11

After the pool, we headed to the carnival!! First stop....ride on the cars!

Second stop...funnel cake and lemonade!

Harrison dug right in and even Declan was curious about the powered confection.

He tried a little bit and was an instant fan!

"I might try another little bite!"

"And, I think I'll take the LAST bite!"

Third stop...rubber ducky game (everyone wins)!

Harrison got to pick a prize out of the big blue tub...

...and went home with a new toy horse!

Pool Time! 6/28/11

We headed to the community pool yesterday to beat the heat.

Declan loved the water! He let us float him on his tummy and his back.

Just relaxing and soaking up the sunshine!

Off to the Movies! 6/27/11

I took Harrison to see his first movie this afternoon! We went to see Cars II and he could not wait to get inside!!

Here he is getting his ticket (Fuzzy got in for free).

Harrison did a GREAT job sitting through the movie and watching the story. He was a little wound up after, so he played on the rocks with his movie ticket.

According to Harrison: "The movie was great!"

Farmer's Market - 6/22/11

Since we had to take Declan to his follow-up surgery appointment on Wednesday, we stopped at a nearby farmer's market to enjoy the weather and some lemonade and biscuits!

"Hey, what am I missing out on?"

"I had a great doctor's visit, and I got a clean bill of post-surgical health!"

A Great Day for a Train Ride! 6/19/11

When we were at the mall on Sunday, Harrison spotted this new train that takes riders on a tour of the outdoor mall area. So, we had to try it! We took Kevin back when he got home to ride it for Father's Day, but it was gone already.

After the Chalk Festival (and a nap) it was time to play in the backyard!

Harrison took off with Declan's toy right away...

"Hey, come back with that truck!"

"That's my straw from the festival!"

Harrison immediately lined up his trucks...

..then went for a spin!
