Harrison's new thing is doing 'push-ups' ...lots of push-ups! It seems as if he does it when he is trying to get to a toy or something he wants. Even though it doesn't get him any closer to what he wants, it does seem like he thinks it will turn into a mode of travel. I guess we'll see how it evolves... 
...he finally 'pretended' to try it, but never really got it into his mouth. When we tried to put it in his mouth, he sealed his lips up very tight. Guess he's not into solids yet -- but, on the positive side, Kevin found them very tasty so at least they won't be wasted!
Harrison's Aunt Jane has been visiting the states for most of the summer, but left today to return to Russia for awhile.....Harrison wants to know who's going to take him on all those long walks during the day!Harrison turns into a little ham now whenever he sees a camera pointed at him -- here's his performance from yesterday...
These pictures were taken from our new backyard. There is a rainbow in the bottom picture, but it's pretty much impossible to see.
We moved into our new house in Superior, CO on Saturday, July 11th and can't wait to get settled. . . . Harrison didn't even seem to notice that anything was going on!

Harrison has started creating his own 'baby language' and loves to say 'baba'. This video shows a little bit of him explaining something in his own words. :)

Off to a good start...
I could use some flavor in my life....these are acutally pretty tasty!
So tasty, in fact, that I think I'll suck the leftovers off of my bib.
Harrison went in for his 6-month check-up with the pediatrician today. The doctor said he was doing great and is 'quite a mellow little guy'. He did great with his vaccines this time and only cried for a few seconds and then forgot all about it and started smiling again!
Harrison was getting too big for his bathtub so we got him this inflatable tub with lots of room for him to stretch out his legs. This was his first time trying out the new tub and he loved it! He really likes splashing in the water as you can see in the video below. I don't think he had any interest in bathtime coming to an end!
Harrison is getting really good at figuring out how his activity center works and it's fun to watch him discover what everything does and the noises the toys make. He especially seems to love the toy in the picture above -- probably because it's easy to get in his mouth! The video below shows a little bit of him exploring his activity center. I love his expressions when he notices something or hears a new noise.
We took Harrison to the park today and sat him in the grass for the first time. He loved grabbing the blades of grass and feeling the texture with his hands and feet!
