Our Trip to the Butterfly Pavilion - 1/3/11

Harrison, Declan, and I went with Nana to the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, CO while she was visiting over New Year's. We saw lots of butterflies, but also saw...

marine life (I can't remember what this was)...

different kinds of starfish (which Harrison got to touch!)....

and lots of fish!!

Baby's First Christmas - 12/25/10

It's been a long day full of merriment and fun...and I'm ready for bed!
Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas (Again)!!! - 12/25/10

Santa Claus came!! Harrison ran right over to the cookies and milk when he got up this morning!

He was SO EXCITED when he noticed the stockings had been filled!

More excitement!

An early break to try out the chocolate bars that Santa brought for him.

Declan's new buddy and other toys from his stocking.

"This is a neat new toy!"

"My favorite toys from Santa!!"

Time to cook! (Harrison made us hamburgers right away)

Another chocolate bar break...this one on his new Snoopy plate.

Declan got this adorable new hat from Santa and he tried it out on our walk today. It wasn't really Christmas weather, but a beautiful crisp day.

Christmas Eve Cookies For Santa!! 12/24/10

We made more cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve...and Harrison was a pro! He had so much fun!!

He did a great job decorating all of the cookies for Santa...

...and transferring them to the cookie tray

When it came time to fix a plate of milk and cookies for Santa, Harrison decided that Santa should have all two dozen cookies...

...and that some of them should be pre-dunked in milk

...okay, a lot of them needed to be pre-dunked!

Here is the finished plate of cookies for Santa. Harrison took a lot of care in getting those cookies to look just right and wanted to get as many in the milk for Santa as he could. He did not want to leave the plate there and kept wanting to work on his arrangement for Santa! (Last I checked, he was still awake in his bed, too!)
