Our little entrepreneur!

Kevin opened up the box that Declan's new car seat came in and Harrison wanted inside the empty box. He immediately decided it would work well for his sales business! He named his stand 'A Place' and even provided some artwork for the signs we made. He sold cupcakes, buttered toast, juice, chicken legs, lattes, and onions. It was so cute!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun - 5/29/11

We went to the 'Old South Gaylord Memorial Day Weekend Festival' near Washington Park on Sunday and Harrison HAD to try out the jumpy castle. Here he is getting ready to go in...

He spent about 2 seconds inside...

...and here he is making his escape! I checked the times on the pictures and this entire sequence lasted a whole 26 seconds!

Here we are going to get ice cream at the homemade ice cream shop and Harrison is modeling the cowboy hat we got at the festival...both were bigger hits than the jumpy castle.

...and an even bigger hit was playing in the backyard with his friend, Finn after we got home. Who needs festivals and jumpy castles when you have a buddy to play with outside !

Introducing....some solid food (kind of)! - 5/28/11

We tried to give 'puffs' to Declan to start getting him used to some foods other than just baby food. Well, he wasn't very interested as you see in the video...they mostly just stuck to him!

A Perfect Day For a Trip to the Zoo! 5/27/11

What a beautiful day! After a picnic in the backyard, we headed to the zoo to enjoy the sunshine and perfect weather.

Harrison's number one request was to see the elephants!

We all got to ride in a peacock chair on the carousel...

and then we got to see one! He opened his feathers right in front of us!

Nine Months Old!! 5/25/11

I can't believe our little guy is 9 months old already!! He is getting very close to crawling! This morning I saw him gently switch himself from a seated position to a crawling position. Previously, he would just launch himself over and hit his face on the carpet!

My Best Buddies! 5/25/11

Declan found this little yellow guy in the playroom at the hospital before his surgery yesterday and really fell in love with him, so they let him bring the little guy home. He also had 'Buddy' with him during his surgery and has been giving him lots of hugs, too! So cute!

Lincoln has a fabulous Children's Museum! We had so much fun exploring many of the areas...and still didn't get to all of them.
