Happy Halloween!!

We are visiting Grandpa and Grandma's house for Halloween and Harrison and Declan have already been to 'Boo at the Zoo' and 'Trunk or Treat'!! Here are Harrison and Grandpa making their way to 'Boo at the Zoo'.

They each got a free pumpkin at the zoo!

And played in the little pumpkin patch.

The zoo was all decked out for Halloween.

Chocolate chip cookies were handed out on the way in to the zoo and Declan had no problem getting most of his eaten!

 'Trick-or-treating' with Grandpa.

Even Big Bird was at the zoo!

Ready for 'Trunk-or-Treating' the next day!

 Waiting for their treat bags.

 Visiting all the trunks!

We stopped for a treat after the 'trunk-or-treating' was complete.

Then it was time to inspect the 'loot' at home!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Halloween Party!! 10/23/11

Harrison and Declan dressed up in their Halloween costumes today and headed to a party! There was pizza (which Declan loved), chips, and lots of sweet treats! Plus, crafts, games, and a costume parade.

Making Halloween Cookies - 10/22/11

Harrison's friend, Finn, came over yesterday to play and make halloween cookies. They were great cookies makers!

Finn had fun wearing the Halloween masks I gave them, but he had a hard time convincing Harrison to try one on....if you look closely, you can see Harrison hiding in the chair!

Mini Chef's Cooking Class - 10/17/11

Harrison went to the first session of his 5-week cooking class today and he loved it! He listened very attentively and thought it was great!

During the time when it wasn't their turn to measure an ingredient, the teacher let the kids play with flour.

Everyone got to help put in the flour and other ingredients for the maple oat scones!

Harrison had fun watching even when it wasn't his turn.

Everyone got to help stir and mash in the butter, too!

Then it was time to roll out his very own scone and cut out a shape!

Harrison chatted with his friend Noah after clean-up and while the scones were baking.

Finally, it was time to taste the scones that all the kids helped make. They were yummy (really)!
