'An Apple a Day' - 1/28/12

I could not resist taking these photos (and video) of Declan and his apple. It was adorable watching him try to eat a whole apple! I intended to cut it into slices for him, but he grabbed it out of my hand and started eating, so I let him try to figure it out! He did a great job, but I think it was a lot of work for him. He chewed, and chewed, and chewed....and chewed every bite. Check out the video.

Around the House - 1/27/12

 Who knew pots and pans could be so exciting...

 ...and vacuum cleaners, too! 

I sure hope they keep their interest in cooking and cleaning until they can help!

The Downtown Aquarium - 1/16/12

 We checked out the Downtown Aquarium in Denver while Nana was here and had a great day! This is our friend, Sharkey!

 There was a big ship/escalator at the entrance...

 ...as well as a 'shark tank' for pretend diving. Harrison and Kevin shared a scuba suit!

 Harrison loved everything at the aquarium! He even got to see a mermaid show and touch a chocolate chip starfish. He was hoping to see an octopus, but we never found one.

 Declan was not always as impressed (but, he still had fun)!

 And the jelly fish were quite amazing.

Lunch at the aquarium's restaurant was lots of fun. What a great day!

A Visit from Nana - January 2012

 Nana came to visit for a week and we had lots of fun! Breakfast and playtime at Chik-fil-a, playing at the mall, the Downtown Aquarium...

...and, off to the movies! Harrison got to go see 'The Muppets' movie with Nana!

Little Angel - 1/15/12

Exploring the Pantry - 1/6/12

 "Isn't it snack time yet?"

 "Hmmm, is there anything I want besides these goldfish crackers?"

 "I think these will work!"

 "Now, how do I get the crackers out of this big box??"

 "This isn't working..."

 "...and neither does this!"
