Noah's Birthday Party - 6/24/12

We celebrated Noah's 4th birthday today with him and his friends at the Rocky Mountain Fire Station in Superior!!!

 The firemen gave a cute presentation for the kids about calling 911 and showed them how a firefighter gets dressed and what kind of gear he wears.

 Declan couldn't decide at first if he was interested or not.

 But, he got really interested when it was time to 'drive' the fire trucks!

 Harrison checked out the back of the fire truck cab.

 Then, it was time to explore the ambulance!

 The party was right inside one of the fire station bays along with the fire trucks.

 The fire pole was a big hit with all the kids!

 Practicing how to be a good firefighter.

Trying to Beat the Heat - 6/23/12

We went to the Boulder Farmer's Market this morning for lemonade and snacks, then walked up to Pearl Street in the heat. Harrison wanted to stop and sit on every bench along the way that was in the shade. If it wasn't in the shade, it wasn't for him. I don't blame him....the temperature here got up to 101 degrees today!

Lincoln Children's Museum - 6/19/12

Our last outing during our visit to see Grandpa and Grandma was to the Children's Museum in Lincoln. This place is amazing and Harrison and Declan had a wonderful time playing all morning!

 After the Children's Museum, we visited with Aunt Cheryl....

...and feasted on Oreos!

Morrill Hall - 6/18/12

 On Monday, we visited Morrill Hall, which is the Nature and Science Museum on the University of Nebraska campus in Lincoln. 

Harrison had a lot of fun learning about the exhibits inside...and climbing on some of them.

Pool Time - 6/17/12

 It was pretty hot and humid during most of our visit in Nebraska, so Harrison and Declan enjoyed spending some time in the pool!
