Time for a Real Haircut - 11/29/11

"This is my 'before' picture. Since I only got a trim for my first haircut, we decided it was time for a real style that doesn't hang over my ears!"

Declan is in love with these little red ornaments on the tree...and he gets so close to getting them!

"If only I could figure out how to get that shiny, red ornament...it would fit so perfectly in my little hand!"

Trimming the Tree - 11/23/11

Harrison and Declan 'helped' us trim the tree last week. They weren't totally into it, but they seemed to like all of the activity.

The little red balls seemed to be the overwhelming favorite! We hung them high on the tree and Declan tries desperately to reach them!

Declan was mostly into climbing on the all of the boxes.

While Harrison was a little more of a helper this year.

We also decorated a little tree for our basement!

This tree gets LOTS of little kiddo attention everyday!

Happy 3rd Birthday!!! 11/21/11

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY HARRISON!!!

We celebrated Harrison's birthday today and had a really fun day!

First, we fueled up with a good breakfast which included sweet potato pancakes (Harrison's new favorite breakfast item).

Then, we spent the morning at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science....

...we saw dinosaurs

...then, watched a Big Bird and Elmo movie in the planetarium about the sky and the stars. Harrison loved it...

...and this is Declan settling in for the show (he did great!)

...we finished with lunch and a trip to see a special dinosaur exhibit with life-size dinosaurs that moved and made noises (very neat!).

When we got home, Grandpa and Grandma were waiting to help with more birthday celebrations!

Harrison was overflowing with energy all day.

Time to open presents!

Birthday dinner was 'catered' from Chik-fil-a just for Harrison!

A special dump truck cake for the birthday boy.

...and birthday wishes (I hope they all come true).

Santa Baby - 11/17/11

I couldn't resist this little Santa hat I saw at Target yesterday. It fits Declan perfectly!

Making Pizza - 11/14/11

Monday was Harrison's last cooking class and he got to make pizza (with his friend Noah)!

The final product! Harrison didn't want to eat it, but I tried it and it was delicious!

A New House for Harrison - 11/13/11

We made stuffed animals at the 'Build-A-Bear' store last Sunday and Harrison fell in love with the house that the toys are sent home in. He decided that he should move in and stay "forever and forever"! The video is priceless if you want to see how that plan turned out for him!
